Job Title

A Process Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations of process and utility systems on an offshore floating facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems to meet production requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain process parameters within operating specifications to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues to maximize sales quality and delivery volume.
  • Maintain discharge water quality by implementing environmental regulations.
  • Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety, and emergency shutdown devices to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting through regular updates.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out all operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner to minimize risks.
  • Report all incidents and hazards immediately to management.
  • Supervise operation of Permit-To-Work (PTW) system and advise maintenance personnel on plant and equipment safety.
  • Coordinate activities and resources across teams or shifts to achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum experience in Hydrocarbon processing operations with 2 years as Control Room Operator.
  • Offshore Personal Survival, Management of Major Emergencies, Medical certificates required.
  • Good level of troubleshooting and operations knowledge including interpretation of P&IDs and C&E charts.
  • Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO operations and processes.
  • Medically fit to international offshore standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
