Pharmacist Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, providing health education and counseling patients regarding their medication needs, maintaining confidential information, and managing controlled medication and required documentation.
  • Model, enforce, and provide guidance to colleagues on customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and promote a culture of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into business plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (required).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
