Job Overview

The Production Planning Lead is responsible for optimizing resource allocation and improving production timelines. The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) should enhance production planning and resource scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailed knowledge of APS solutions, their possibilities, and functionalities, including MES solutions.
  • Ensure accurate production planning, capacity management, and scheduling within the MES.
  • Collaborate with the MES team to align system functionalities with real-world production requirements.
  • Validate and test scheduling functionalities within the APS to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
  • Provide insights on resource allocation, lead times, and production constraints to improve planning.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
  • Familiarity with MES and APS systems, including their integration into manufacturing workflows.
  • Analytical skills to increase planning and scheduling processes based on data insights.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
