Job Title: Associate Fig Moody'S Local

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our team at Moody's Local. As a Credit Analyst Associate, you will play a key role in providing credit analysis and research support to our rating teams. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the financial services industry and contribute to the success of Moody's Local.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preliminary credit analysis to support ratings, research, analytical outreach, and presentations.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of financial documents, asset performance, and economic/market data.
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets and charts, analyze data, build, and update financial models and analytical tools.
  • Write analytical commentary in accordance with Moody's methodologies.
  • Support credit monitoring/surveillance of issuers by preparing data for surveillance and periodically updating preliminary components of analysis.
  • Perform certain routine administrative and other ad hoc credit-related tasks as advised by direct supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum undergraduate/first-level degree in economics, accounting, engineering, business administration, statistics, actuarial science, or similar.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of validated experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven English, spoken, and written communication.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Python programming and Visual Basic for Applications knowledge is a strong plus.
