Job Summary:
Fitch Group is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst, Associate Director to join our Global Infrastructure Ratings team in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating creditworthiness of infrastructure projects and issuers in the Latin American region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit structures and evaluate innovative credit solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior management of project sponsors, investment bankers, and financial advisors.
- Produce high-quality credit reports and ratings analysis for publication.
- Collaborate with global criteria development teams to enhance credit evaluation methodologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance or credit-related roles, preferably in the energy and/or transportation sectors.
- Proven credit skills and excellent modeling skills with thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
