About the Role:

As a Senior Debt Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for originating deals from various markets through daily calls and interactions. This involves processing proposals from bankers and other financial institutions, as well as working on secondary debt market transactions.

  • Originate deals from markets through daily communication with key stakeholders.
  • Process proposals from bankers and other financial institutions, ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Contribute to the success of debt finance operations by participating in secondary debt market transactions.
  • Follow up on deals until successful execution.
  • Extract relevant data from fixed income sources and websites in real-time.
  • Compile comprehensive management reports using MIS (Management Information System) tools.
  • Place processed deals with suitable bankers and identify new investor opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of financials across diverse sectors, including revenue models and cash flow management.
  • Possess knowledge of essential financial ratios and indicators.
  • Bring experience in debt finance, with a strong track record of deal origination and execution.
  • Excel in proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Develop effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a post-graduation degree in commerce or a related field.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Master's in Commerce (M.Com.), or MBA/PGDM in Finance.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with mutual funds and their role in investment portfolios.
  • Brief knowledge of non-convertible debentures (NCD), commercial papers (CP), bonds, fixed income markets, and money market instruments.
