Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated testing frameworks, particularly Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.

This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a professional who can evaluate the current Selenium framework architecture, propose enhancements, and design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new modules or components to extend the framework's functionality based on project requirements, developing robust and efficient Selenium test scripts using best practices and design patterns, and refactoring existing scripts to improve readability, modularity, and performance.

In addition, the SDET will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage, continuously improve our QA processes, and mentor team members of the QA team, providing guidance on best practices and technical expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in automated testing frameworks, particularly Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in programming languages Java and Spring boot
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts
