Biopharma Field Engineer Position Overview

This role provides technical support to the sales function and customers directly. As part of our services business unit, you will collaborate with regional sales managers to identify process improvement opportunities at customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and proposing solutions for equipment improvement opportunities;
  • Supporting delivery of high-value field services;
  • Collaborating with colleagues on proposal development;
  • Providing technical expertise to clients and internal teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or science, as well as significant experience in biopharma capital equipment engineering/design, bioprocess engineering, and/or biopharma manufacturing operations/maintenance.

A strong understanding of technical issues and commercial situations is essential. Prior experience in field service or applications is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to travel approximately 60% of the time, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in biopharma industry;
  • Strong understanding of biopharma equipment and processes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Prior experience in field service or applications preferred.
