IT Talent Acquisition Specialist
OverviewThe position of IT talent acquisition specialist is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to find, attract, and engage top technical talent. As an experienced recruiter with a strong network of local engineering talent within the IT industry, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top candidates to join our team.
Responsibilities- Source and identify top technical talent through various channels, including networking events, social media, and online job boards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR teams, and other recruitment partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Plan and execute recruitment campaigns to attract and engage top candidates, including creating job descriptions, job postings, and interview materials.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
- Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage and track recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, source of hire, and quality of hire.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT recruitment or similar technical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry and current market trends.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR teams, and other recruitment partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of contemporary IT technologies and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions.
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging job descriptions, job postings, and interview materials.
