Job Title: Cloud Platform Specialist

We are seeking an experienced cloud platform specialist to join our team. As a key member of the DevOps Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our Ria systems and processes.

  • Ensure high uptime (99.98%) of our platform by leading the architecture, deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of mission-critical production systems.
  • Work closely with our Software Development and Engineering teams to build platforms before they go live, building a reliable production-ready services and applications.
  • Manage major incidents to mitigation/resolution, perform post-incident reviews of all major incidents and determine action items required to avoid similar issues/minimize downtime for future incidents.
  • Work with Software Development and Engineering teams to ensure that assigned applications/platforms have appropriate monitoring and metrics in place to measure performance and stability.
  • Build tools and automation that eliminate work and reduce the time it takes to resolve an issue for public cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Coach team members, provide knowledge transfer to coworkers and encourage acquisition of new skills.
  • Provide rotational on-call support where you'll respond, detect, triage and resolve production incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Linux and Windows operating systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  3. Design, develop, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal system performance.
  4. Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  5. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in software development and/or systems engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and environment.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, including t-shooting application, networking and database levels.
  • Experience with container orchestration and web servers such as IIS, Nginx, and Apache.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, and Ansible.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • English Proficiency (B2 or above).
