We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This critical role involves ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems, minimizing downtime, and optimizing overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:- Regularly inspect equipment performance and conduct predictive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
- Schedule additional servicing as needed to maintain high standards of equipment operation.
- Supervise and guide technicians on shift, promoting their development and growth within the team.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with the RME team to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the network.
A typical day in this role involves leading a team to ensure everyone has the necessary equipment and that it's running efficiently. You'll monitor processes to guarantee compliance with regulations and policies, and implement preventative maintenance to increase equipment uptime.
You'll also suggest improvements to make our systems more efficient and productive, then implement those changes across various functions. Working closely with your line manager, you'll assist with administrative tasks while leveraging tools like Scada to guarantee process performance.
This role is located at one of our operational sites, requiring flexibility with shift patterns, including weekends and nights. As you develop your experience within this exciting area of work, you'll be well-positioned to progress into more senior roles.
Requirements:- Demonstrated expertise in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Scada systems and other relevant technologies.
