At Thales, we're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Technical Consultant to implement our data protection solutions in customer environments. This role requires extensive technical expertise and strong customer-facing skills.

This position involves assisting engagement specialists to scope complex product deployments, setting up conference calls with customers to review deployment plans, prerequisites, and best practices, providing onsite or remote consulting services and support to customers, recording project activities in the department's project management application, developing and delivering technical hands-on product deep knowledge transfer to customers, tracking and ensuring successful completion of high-impact projects by creating project scoping plans, design guides, and relevant documentation, functioning as a technical point of contact for customer deployments, and mentoring other team members.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Deploying and documenting key management solutions utilizing CipherTrust Manager and its full suite of connectors.
  • Integrating CipherTrust Manager with third-party vendor solutions, clouds, HSMs, and databases.
  • Providing strong product and professional services solution presentations to internal and external audiences.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field.
  • Experience in software security consulting, customer-facing roles as a consultant, trainer, or sales engineer.
  • Experience in Enterprise PKI Engineering, encryption, key management, and hardware security modules (HSM).
  • Strong English language skills.
