Assembly Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to assemble and configure hardware equipment according to technical specifications.

The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve intermediate-level technical issues independently, support the Technical Lead in implementing new projects and processes, document tasks performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and electronic repairs.

Key responsibilities include handling local electronic repair cases, replacing components, and providing timely solutions. The Assembly Technician will also consult with the LATAM Technical Lead on complex or undocumented failures, report required materials and spare parts for repairs or manufacturing to the Regional Operations Analyst, and attend customer visits for test days and implementations when requested.

This role requires strong knowledge of SMD soldering, hardware assembly, configuration, and maintenance, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve electronic technical failures efficiently. Experience in technical support, customer service, and ticket management is preferred, along with good command of technical documentation and availability for on-site client visits.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SMD soldering, hardware assembly, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve electronic technical failures efficiently.
  • Experience in technical support, customer service, and ticket management (preferably).
  • Good command of technical documentation.
  • Availability for on-site client visits.
