Billing Operations Expert

Billing is a crucial aspect of any organization, and we are seeking an experienced Billing Analyst to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for managing complex billing processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and leading financial reporting. In this role, you will oversee advanced billing processes, contract billing, and subscription management, as well as ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and guide junior staff.

You will analyze customer contracts to ensure correct billing and revenue treatment, prepare billing and revenue reports, and develop key performance indicators. Additionally, you will lead variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting activities, implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency, and coordinate billing audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Experience in billing management or similar finance roles is essential, along with knowledge of accounting principles, especially accounts receivable. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are also required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex billing processes, including contract billing and subscription management

• Requirements:
• Proven experience in billing management or similar finance roles
• Knowledge of accounting principles, especially accounts receivable
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with home improvement marketing challenges
• Familiarity with SEO, PPC, social media, and lead generation channels
• Experience with Zoho Books and Zoho One
