Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented IT Operations Specialist to become a part of our BAO Technical Operations team.
The successful candidate will have a robust technical foundation, with proficiency in SQL scripting, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Azure and its microservices, DataDog, Splunk, development methodologies, Azure DevOps, and other pertinent technologies in the current market.
This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure while enhancing efficiency through automation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.
Develop and manage SQL scripts for database administration, data manipulation, and reporting.
Create PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows.
Oversee and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services and its associated microservices to guarantee optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Utilize DataDog for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
Analyze logs and metrics using Splunk to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Apply development expertise to aid in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable IT solutions.
Adopt best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery utilizing Azure DevOps.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in SQL scripting for database management and reporting.
Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and task orchestration.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and its microservices.
Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as DataDog, Splunk, AppInsights & Log Analytics. A development background with knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps) are advantageous.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT technical operations or a similar capacity.
Experience with agile development practices is preferred.
