Job Title: Regional Centre Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Africa Regional Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the centre's operations, including project identification, preparation, and implementation.

About the Role:

The Director General of the Africa Regional Centre will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the centre's strategic plan, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre. This includes managing a team of professionals who are responsible for various aspects of the centre's work, such as project preparation, implementation, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the centre's strategic plan, aligned with the Bank's overall goals and objectives;
  • Oversee the centre's operations, including project identification, preparation, and implementation;
  • Manage a team of professionals who are responsible for various aspects of the centre's work;
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, private sector partners, and civil society organizations;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on the centre's activities and progress.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international relations, or economics. You should also have at least 15 years of experience in a leadership role in a multilateral development bank, government, or regulated private sector financial institution.
