Job Summary:
As a senior technical specialist, you will be part of an agile team that develops and delivers innovative technology solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Your role will involve conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions to support the firm's objectives.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions using creative problem-solving skills.
- Develop high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve overall operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials.
- Drive awareness and use of new technologies through communities of practice.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:
- Formal training or certification in software development concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Advanced knowledge and +7 years of experience with C#/.Net.
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
- Experience building middle-tier services at scale.
- Experience developing responsive front-end UIs in C# (WPF) and web-based technologies (e.g., React, Angular, TypeScript).
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of the Capital Markets and Trading industry and their IT systems.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:
- Experience working in the Capital Markets industry with Portfolio Management systems.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of modern User Interface architecture and design.
- Understanding and experience with data caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast).
- Understanding and experience with message distribution technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
