Pricing Specialist

Job Description

The Pricing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the bidding and proposal processes through cost modeling, tax analysis, and pricing governance. This position involves constructing Total Cost of Ownership (TCOs), evaluating fiscal impacts, supporting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with company standards, in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Contracts teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct TCOs based on engineering solutions, focusing on direct tax impacts, including resale-to-fixed asset and resale-to-resale operations.
  • Conduct scenario modeling (A/B analysis) and industrialization strategies with local partners to optimize tax planning and competitiveness.
  • Analyze DIFAL (ICMS interstate tax differential) and other indirect taxes to ensure accurate pricing and compliance.
  • Manage and update Unit Price Lists (LPU), ensuring consistency with contractual and awarded-project requirements.
  • Support the preparation, validation, and control of pricing spreadsheets, proposals, and purchase orders.
  • Benchmark markets and competitors, participating in e-auctions and commercial clarifications to improve competitiveness and margins.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure financial and operational feasibility of proposals.
  • Contribute to risk analysis and negotiation of commercial clauses, SLAs, and payment terms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Law.
  • Previous experience in bidding, pricing, or commercial proposals in complex environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of VBA and Python will be considered a differential for automation and database management.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian tax system (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, DIFAL) and TCO construction.
  • ERP experience (TOTVS Protheus/Fluig, SAP is a plus).
  • Advanced English, able to use it as a working language.
