Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Underwriter to join our Casualty team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for underwriting and growing profitable General Liability business in the Brazilian Market.

  • Underwrite and execute profitable casualty business by delivering top-line and bottom-line plans in accordance with local and regional strategies, target segments, and guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and leverage it to grow the portfolio, ensuring all underwriting is in line with underwriting authorities and corporate governance rules.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in development and execution of business, identifying and developing new business pipelines in the target segments through early engagement with distribution channels and sales.
  • Deliver high-quality work with enthusiasm, ownership, and urgency, maintaining regular contact with brokers and corporate clients to expand business opportunities.
  • Ensure the integrity of data in relevant information, pricing, and analysis systems and other systems, managing cost according to plan.

  • Underwrite and manage renewal portfolio
  • Grow profitable General Liability business
  • Develop new business pipelines
  • Cross-sell to other lines of business underwriters
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as required
