We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriter to take on a key role within our organization.
About the Role- Responsibilities include underwriting new and renewal business in Casualty, leveraging strong relationship building skills to effectively communicate risk appetite and value proposition to brokers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand broker networks, attend industry events, and build relationships across the market to drive new business growth.
- Demonstrated experience in senior underwriting roles, with a solid understanding of Casualty.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Law (desired).
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship building skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Interest in mentoring and training for those who have not held these responsibilities previously.
