Service Expert Role OverviewKongsberg Maritime, a renowned marine technology leader, offers cutting-edge solutions for diverse maritime sectors.

We operate from our global headquarters in Norway, serving as a central hub for manufacturing, sales, and service facilities across 34 countries worldwide. Our team aims to deliver top-notch marine electronics ensuring optimal sea operation performance under extreme conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer support through commissioning and service on assigned Field Service product range.
  2. Offer technical assistance during on-call assignments regarding HW/SW issues.
  3. Attend CATs, Dry-Docking, and Sea trials during commissioning and regular service trips.
  4. Report errors or defects on equipment delivered from KM and suggest improvement actions.
  5. Assist Sales, After sales, customer, and Field Service teams with technical expertise.
  6. Furnish accurate documentation when requested.
  7. Update CRM, databases, and documentation after regular services according to Global Customer Support processes.
  8. Pursue continuous skill development by participating in internal/external courses and education.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience/education.
  • Customer-oriented approach with strong service skills.
  • Ability to handle simultaneous activities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with extended travel activity and flexible work tasks controlled by customers.
  • Excellent cooperative skills towards colleagues and customers.
  • Proficiency in English as the official work language.
  • Able to work independently, self-driven, and efficiently.
  • Programming/Coding knowledge is desired but not mandatory.
