Pricing and Market Access Senior Manager Job Overview

The Pricing and Market Access Senior Manager is a critical role responsible for driving strategic market access initiatives that unlock barriers and increase value in CF care.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end access pathways in Cystic Fibrosis (CF) to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with international HEOR teams to develop pricing and reimbursement dossiers, cost-effectiveness model adaptations, and HEOR tools for reimbursement plans.
  • Develop compelling value propositions under different perspectives (payers, policymakers, regulators, CF community) to drive external engagement.
  • Educate cross-functional teams on payer materials, including product value proposition, scientific evidence, and value story.
  • Cultivate relationships with medical teams to generate evidence supporting access plans and commercial teams to maximize patient access to Vertex's portfolio.
  • Maintain market access perspective in business discussions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to Pricing and Market Access activities and update metric source databases.

This role requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a degree in sciences, business administration, health policy, or health economics, along with experience in pricing, HEOR, and access strategies.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Portuguese and possess a deep understanding of HTA, payer environments, and health system needs. Additionally, they should have experience with pricing and reimbursement dossier submissions and post-reimbursement tactics.
