We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team in sustainably managing forests and ecosystems while delivering on the promise of education, communication, and entertainment.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with policy groups at global and regional levels to capture requirements, document processes, and mitigate issues as they arise.
- Understand data security needs and regulatory requirements to define data security policies and standards for application.
- Determine methods to monitor compliance with data policies.
- Work with IT teams to implement technology for monitoring and enforcing policy compliance.
- Support design and iteration of procedural documentation.
- Manage, document, and track requirements from various stakeholders.
- Rapid knowledge transfer from resources required for TSA exit.
- Governmental organizations introduce policies and regulations that need to be understood quickly for impact to determination of response.
- Data policies need to align with changes in the marketplace such as sustainability or financial requirements, e-commerce initiatives, etc.
- Evolving trends in data technology need to be evaluated for potential use to monitor or ensure compliance.
- Collaborating with Legal, Security, and IT team members for successful outcomes.
- Understanding current regional data policy requirements.
- Ensuring business opportunities and functional area concerns are effectively met and addressed by data policies.
