About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled International E&P Contracts Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our Latin America Upstream Intelligence team, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of E&P contract data.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Research and analyze E&P contract data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Partner with regional teams to gather and analyze E&P industry information.
  • Utilize GIS tools to create and update spatial data.
  • Maintain and enhance E&P Contracts and Blocks data.
  • Perform special data quality projects as designated by the E&P Contract Director or Regional Upstream Intelligence team.
  • Contribute to quality control of team products and resolve data inconsistencies.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in geoscience or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience working with GIS tools and Microsoft Office.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Geoscience or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one other language spoken across Latin America.
  • Petroleum industry experience, particularly in Latin America.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in GIS tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm, and good decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with rigid deadlines under direct supervision as well as autonomously, setting priorities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Portuguese.
  • Experience with new technologies and data acquisition tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
