Job Overview

In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Director. As the Strategic Partner Account Manager for Video Security & Access Control, you will serve as the main liaison for targeted video solution sales initiatives with Channel Partners within your designated region. Your primary focus will be on nurturing these relationships and implementing effective sales strategies to enhance business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Channel Partners, providing them with comprehensive knowledge of our solutions, and articulating how these offerings can enhance their sales and deliver greater value to their clients. Regularly monitor and report on account activities.
  • Assist Channel Partners in managing orders and returns through our distribution network.
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners to ensure their teams receive the necessary training for successful deployment of our solutions.
  • Support sales initiatives for Motorola Solutions' video and access control products in your territory by identifying, developing, and responding to sales opportunities to expand the customer base and boost revenue.
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners while collaborating with the Channel Sales Executives Team to secure end-user sales opportunities.
  • Assist regional leaders in setting quarterly and annual sales objectives for Channel Partners within the territory.
  • Explore new potential partners as resellers for Video & Access Control products.
  • Utilize lead and project tracking software to monitor sales activities.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues, including Channel Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in video security solutions sales, with a background in transactional business.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in physical security solutions is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills in both English and German.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to discuss our products and solutions effectively.
  • Proven ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • A solid understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record in funnel development through proactive prospecting.
  • Outstanding presentation skills are required.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the capability to learn and demonstrate new software effectively.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time within the territory.
  • Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus.

Travel Requirements

Travel will be required for more than 50% of the time, including international travel.
