About the Role:

The automotive industry is rapidly evolving, and organizations need to stay ahead of the curve by leveraging software advancements. Our Embedded Engineering organization is seeking a skilled professional to drive innovation in automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and validate software and applications running on embedded systems through thorough testing.
  • Conduct functional testing, platform testing, network management, cybersecurity, functional safety, and diagnostics within specified test scopes.
  • Develop test designs based on system requirements and manage test cases in project management tools.
  • Perform test execution on hardware-in-the-loop systems.
  • Collaborate with verification engineers, stakeholders, including software and hardware developers, and project lead engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics, Automotive, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in powertrain or vehicle domains.
  • Familiarity with embedded software design processes.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in embedded software testing.
  • Knowledge of test techniques.
  • Experience with requirement management and project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Understanding of programming languages like Matlab/Simulink and tooling.
  • Preference for knowledge of model-based design techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, result-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Experience in test automation and agile methodologies a plus.
  • Fluent English language skills for effective verbal and written communication.
