Embedded Software Testing Engineer

The automotive industry is undergoing a rapid transformation, and our organization must adapt to the latest trends. With software playing an increasingly crucial role, we are seeking a skilled Embedded Test Engineer to contribute to the future of automotive.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the verification and validation of software and applications running on embedded systems;
  • Test scope includes functional testing, platform testing, network management, cybersecurity, functional safety, and diagnostics;
  • Create test designs based on system requirements;
  • Manage test cases using HP ALM;
  • Conduct test execution on hardware-in-the-loop systems;
  • Collaborate in a dynamic environment with multi-disciplinary teams for various projects;
  • Interact daily with verification engineers and frequently with project stakeholders, including software and hardware engineers and project lead engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanics, Automotive, Electronics, Computer Science, or comparable field;
  • Strong technical skills in powertrain or vehicle domain;
  • Familiarity with embedded software design processes (V-cycle);
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in embedded software testing;
  • Knowledge of test techniques (test certificate, ISTQB asset);
  • Experience with requirement management;
  • Experience with HP ALM;
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
  • Understanding of Matlab/Simulink and Vector Tooling;
  • Preferrable: knowledge of model-based design techniques;
  • Demonstrated communication skills, professionalism, result-orientation, and customer-service orientation;
  • Plus: experience in test automation and Scrum/Agile methodologies;
  • Fluency in English language for effective verbal and written communication.
