Senior Accounting Manager

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.

  • Drive process excellence for accounting operations, identifying gaps and implementing updated processes.
  • Manage order management and operational billing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise financial compliance, managing relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Oversee local accounting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and statutory standards.
  • Monitor the accounting function using established metrics.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.
  • 10+ years of related experience in finance and accounting for a major multi-national company required.
  • Local CPA or Public Accounting certification highly preferred.
  • Ability to speak English fluently. Knowledge of Spanish, beneficial.
  • Prior experience working with accounting systems and software, financial reports, audits, and corporate tax required.
  • International accounting experience and Brazilian tax expertise essential.
  • Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting.
  • Strong Analytic, organization, and critical thinking skills allowing for strategic data interpretation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; experience in effectively communicating key data.
