Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional procurement strategy aligned with the global vision.
  • Coordinate procurement category management and group sites across LATAM.
  • Manage procurement network on designated perimeter, prioritizing actions and resources.
  • Provide inputs for mid-term strategy development.
  • Establish and execute multi-year strategy, working cross-functionally to support stakeholders on quality, delivery, costs and risks.
  • Support local teams and review action plans for Rio, Sao Paulo and LATAM affiliates.
  • Represent the procurement team in projects and business reviews as needed.
  • Monitor procurement spend and ensure accurate categorization within the spend cube.
  • Collaborate with global procurement to define target vendor list and suppliers' footprint.
  • Coordinate acquisition process for materials and services using strategic sourcing principles.
  • Negotiate direct materials and indirect spends with suppliers.
  • Pursue continuous cost reduction through new supplier development and renegotiation.
  • Responsible for transformation initiatives and delivering savings aligned with procurement targets.
  • Support internal customers, providing follow-up and adding value to their areas.
  • Present KPIs and maintain contract management system.
