Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Engineer to oversee all engineering deliverables for assigned scopes, from design validation and approvals to procurement, compliance, and on-site execution.

This individual will work closely with planning, commercial, and MEP teams to ensure successful delivery on time, fully compliant, and meeting project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate accurate execution of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure proactive identification and mitigation of potential issues.
  • Monitor site progress, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and timelines, and maintaining accurate records and reports as necessary.
  • Support project planning, cost control, and procurement activities by providing expert technical advice and guidance.
  • Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues proactively through effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in inspections, testing, and handover processes to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and 5-10 years of relevant experience in large-scale civil construction projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of concrete, formwork, structural works, and finishing, including familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
