Brazil Regional Financial Operations Director

The Brazil Country Controller position oversees Tax and reporting compliance for the region, ensuring proper processes are implemented to provide accurate and timely financial reports.
Key Responsibilities- Drive process excellence in accounting operations for Brazil, including documenting current state, identifying gaps and issues, designing future state, and obtaining organizational alignment to implement updated processes.
- Manage all aspects of order management and operational billing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of customer billing.
- Supervise tax and reporting compliance for Brazil.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including independent public accountants, third-party accounting firms, and tax advisors.
- Ensure local accounting and reporting systems comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local statutory standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the accounting function using established metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Protect company assets by maintaining confidentiality of financial information and plans.
- Provide leadership in enhancing internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization.
- Communicate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels, including finance and non-finance managers.
