The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in our courseware development team, reviewing course content and testing course functionality. This role requires attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills to identify issues that need to be addressed. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other QA specialists and eLearning developers in a fast-paced environment, creating excellent eLearning content and providing feedback that contributes to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit course scripts, descriptions, storyboards, and other deliverables
  • Review graphics/art department deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to storyboard requirements
  • Test course builds, complete issue logs, and re-test fixes until the fix passes
  • Communicate with the team on these issues and provide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to make all departments in courseware thrive
  • Be flexible regarding working hours, as you'll be working with teams across different time zones
  • Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
  • Ensure content is WCAG 2.1 compliant, making it accessible to all users

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in eLearning QA
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Able to correct others while encouraging them to improve their skills
  • Fluent in Japanese
