Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are looking for a skilled finance professional to join our team as a Financial Transformation Specialist.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of financial processes in the areas of accounting and share services. This will involve leveraging the lean methodology to implement process improvements, ensuring that our financial systems are efficient, effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality financial information to management;
  • Manage a team to deliver USGAAP and statutory financial statements;
  • Maintain a high level of governance to ensure compliance with SOX, internal control and internal audit requirements;
  • Build and maintain relationships with global leaders and peers around the world;
  • Work closely with the Brazil shared services finance team to standardize, simplify and industrialize processes;
  • Deliver results under pressure while engaging and motivating team members;
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team;
  • Clear communicator in both written and verbal form.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or equivalent;
  • 10 years experience in accounting environment;
  • Fluent English;
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and principles, especially IFRS, including month-end closing processes;
  • Knowledge of IT accounting and reporting tools;
  • Knowledge of internal controls principles;
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage a diverse team;
  • Constructive behavior that fosters engagement, commitment and a sense of belonging.
