Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the roadmap for our Video Target Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in incubating, piloting, and launching our VV Video Platform.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers to identify their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. You will work closely with the PS Video team to refine and iterate on our long-term vision of delivering a video platform that makes transportation smart.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute features and capabilities in your product area, distilling this into multiple short-term execution deliverables.
  • Advocate for the customer, understanding and articulating customer needs, conducting ongoing customer research, leveraging internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritizing market requirements.
  • Write requirements documents, define use cases, customer journey, and own the business metrics and KPIs for your products and services.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and weakness in both product area and process, and articulate creative and iterative solutions.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle by defining User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria and meeting a Definition of Ready; participate in daily standup and sprint reviews of engineering work products.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, shipping software used by thousands of users.
  • Pragmatic problem solver and can focus on technical details.
  • Exceptional communication skills (English and Portuguese) that allow you to bridge the gap of a team spread across the world.
  • Past experience leading Software/Hardware products preferably in video telematics.
  • Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to work in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Customer-facing experience, with a willingness to travel and speak when reasonably safe travel is able to resume.

Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience working on IoT, Telematics, or Video products.
  • Understanding of the trucking or logistics industries.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, and go to market positioning.
