Accounting Specialist Job Opportunity

Fox Human Capital is partnering with a leading Oil and Gas organization to find an experienced Accounting Specialist to work in Rio de Janeiro.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Review of accounts payable and receivable entries
    • Lead the coordination with outsourced accountants
    • Review of monthly packages, particularly balance sheets, general ledgers, IFRS16 depreciation, inventory, ARO, AVP, etc.
    • Manage fixed assets and inventory on behalf of F&P department, concerning both Company interests and Joint Ventures
    • Control expenses and reimbursement of secondees, full charge in issuance of corresponding At Cost Certificate, support in issuance of Secondee Local Content Certificate
    • Full charge in managing the issuance/publishing/registration of Annual Accounts, fulfilling all necessary legal requirements
    • Subject matter expert in accounting/financial reporting related issues
    • Support management information/reporting purposes
    • Coordinate support for other departments and attend to Headquarter requests
    • Represent the company in JV committee, IBP, or other associations as needed
    • Other tasks assigned by F&P manager temporarily
    Requirements
    • Sr. Accounting experience;
    • Advanced/fluent English;
    • Upstream O&G experience;
    • Flexibility to work with different cultures;
