Transaction Monitoring Global Lead

This role is responsible for leading a global team in transaction monitoring, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain metrics to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  2. Motivate, mentor, and coach team members from across the globe in various aspects of running a highly effective transaction monitoring program.
  3. Drive cross-functional projects to completion, enhancing our transaction monitoring capabilities and managing the company's risk exposure.
  4. Communicate at an expert level with stakeholders from across the business, executives, regulators, and strategic partners.
  5. Develop and author reports, metrics, proposals, and analysis documents providing clear and concise information to support decision-making.
  6. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the Compliance program, manage risk, and support the customer experience.
  7. Enhance validation of control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
  8. Contribute to efforts to develop a strong compliance culture and increase organizational awareness of compliance roles and responsibilities.
  9. Implement corrective action and issue tracking in alignment with established policies.
  10. Review work product produced by the team and appropriately escalate issues to leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience working in a compliance role with 5 years leading a global Transaction Monitoring team. Crypto on-chain monitoring experience is a plus. Proven experience and knowledge in AML regulations, criminal typologies, audit/exam management, operational leadership are required.
