Medical Device Inspector

The Medical Device Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of finished and semi-finished medical devices to ensure compliance with product quality plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations as well as company standards and specifications.
- Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections across all stages of production.
- Communicate quality or safety concerns promptly.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all areas of responsibility, including 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, EU MDR, MDD, and CMDR standards and regulations.
- Correct or escalate quality or compliance issues.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and inspection techniques. The ability to work independently and effectively communicate quality or safety concerns is essential.
