About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Developer to join our SAP Concur Spend development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Test-Driven Design: Collaborate with developers to promote test-driven design patterns and ensure quality is a core consideration in everything we deliver.
  • Test Design and Execution: Create detailed test designs using both exploratory and scripted testing methods, and develop and execute manual and automated tests.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Learn our software inside and out, becoming a subject matter expert in the configuration and use of our software.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work in a scrum development project model, participate actively in requirements, design, and feature reviews, and collaborate with global Spend QE, support, and product development teams.
  • Technical Environment: Stay updated with technology and changing tools, environments, and an agile engineering process, and enjoy a strong technical environment where all members of the development teams, including management, are close to the code and making technical contributions.
Requirements
  • Formal Training: Formal training in computer programming or a related technical field.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to solve technical computer problems by writing actual working code, familiarity with testing tools like JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber, scripting/programming capability, and a solid understanding of modern software architecture concepts and approaches.
  • Leadership and Communication: Initiative and the desire to improve – yourself, our products, our working environment, and our processes, and experience leading and organizing small teams to accomplish specific goals.
