About the Role:

SAP SE is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Developer to join our SAP Concur Spend development team. As a QE developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products, working closely with developers to promote test-driven design patterns and creating detailed test designs using exploratory and scripted testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests using industry-standard tools and scripting languages.
  • Work with global Spend QE, support, and product development teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and feature reviews to ensure quality is a core consideration in everything we deliver.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology and changing tools, environments, and agile engineering processes.
  • Engage in a strong technical environment where all members of the development teams contribute technically.

Requirements:

  • Formal training in computer programming or a related technical field.
  • Ability to solve technical computer problems by writing actual working code.
  • Demonstrated desire and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Easy to work with and adaptable to change.
  • Initiative and the desire to improve – yourself, our products, our working environment, and our processes.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber.
  • Scripting/programming capability.
  • Solid understanding of modern software architecture concepts and approaches.
  • Interest in advanced programming languages.
