Strategic Government Relations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Government Relations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with government officials, business organizations, and industry associations to advance the company's interests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international relations, law, administration, economics, or a related field, with experience in representing companies in industry associations and groups. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish intermediate skills desirable.

You will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance and support on legislative and regulatory matters. This will involve identifying and monitoring key issues, developing position statements, and engaging with stakeholders to influence policy and regulatory decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, business organizations, and industry associations
  • Provide strategic guidance and support on legislative and regulatory matters
  • Identify and monitor key issues affecting the company and the industry
  • Develop position statements and engage with stakeholders to influence policy and regulatory decisions

Requirements:

  • Strong background in international relations, law, administration, economics, or a related field
  • Experience in representing companies in industry associations and groups
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish intermediate skills desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
