Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading the financial management of our division, ensuring the efficient operation of accounting and finance policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of finance professionals. Additionally, they will have a proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Annual Budget: Create and implement annual budget plans, including revenue projections, expense allocations, and capital expenditure forecasts.
  • Perform Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insightful reports on key metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads: Work closely with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and cost control measures.
  • Conduct Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasting models to support strategic initiatives and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or Related Field: A degree in a related field is required.
  • Clear Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Proven Financial Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of Local Tax Laws: Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting.
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
