Rotating Equipment Specialist

As a seasoned Rotating Machinery Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions for our industrial equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our rotating machinery, including compressors, blowers, pumps, cooling towers, and other process equipment.
You will be responsible for developing engineering design documentation, specifications, data sheets, inspection and test plans, and scopes of work, all in accordance with applicable codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
In this role, you will also coordinate equipment engineering activities with internal and external resources to produce engineering deliverables on schedule and within budget.
Additionally, you will participate in weekly project team meetings, provide progress updates on equipment design and procurement, and develop bid and purchase packages, issue requests for quotations, and conduct bid evaluations and purchase requisitions.
Your technical expertise will be invaluable in reviewing, validating, and approving vendor proposals, calculations, drawings, and documentation.
Furthermore, you will witness machinery testing at the vendor manufacturing site, participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up, and troubleshoot as required.
You will also develop vibration monitoring programs, analyze machinery vibration data, and create corrective and preventive plans.
As the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and plant operations, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
