- Evaluate the creditworthiness of counterparties and clients, providing clear recommendations to support risk decisions and align with the company's commercial and financial strategies.
- Perform credit analyses using proprietary internal rating methodologies, issuing opinions and setting exposure limits.
- Examine balance sheets and financial statements, identifying significant variations and assessing their impact on credit risk.
- Continuously monitor the financial health of counterparties, generating alerts and periodic reports for management.
- Update and improve risk models, databases, and dashboards.
- Execute operational routines such as database updates, reconciliations, and maturity controls to support Risk Specialists.
- Participate in risk committees, internal/external audit processes, and policy improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Legal, and Compliance areas to align exposures, guarantees, and contractual clauses.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in corporate credit analysis or financial risk assessment.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting, balance sheet analysis, and cash flow statements.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Experience in the energy sector/financial market or certifications (CFA, FRM, CRC) are a plus.
