Role Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced credit risk specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining credit risk policies and procedures.

  • The successful candidate will analyze and assess the creditworthiness of customers and counterparties to determine credit risk ratings and limits.

About You:

  • You should have experience in credit risk management, preferably in banking or fintech.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., finance, economics, business) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain credit risk policies and procedures.
  2. Create and implement collection policies to minimize losses.
  3. Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of customers and counterparties to determine credit risk ratings and limits.
  4. Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify potential credit risks and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies.
  6. Provide credit risk expertise to support business growth and profitability.
  7. Monitor and analyze trends in Brazilian credit markets and political changes to inform credit risk decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit risk management, preferably in banking or fintech.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end credit operations and experience in credit risk analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., finance, economics, business).
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL; Python programming skills are a plus.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work across time zones in an international setting.
