Agripacific Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting health and safety programs to employees, providing emergency treatment, and securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Urgent Treatment: Give first aid, check vital signs, and administer medicines to prevent further complications.
- Prepare and Oversee Annual Physical Examinations: Schedule and coordinate the event, ensuring all employees receive a thorough medical examination.
- Discuss Medical Concerns: Identify and discuss medical concerns with employees, recommending follow-up consultations with specialists as needed.
- Prepare Medical Reports: Compile and submit monthly medical reports to the HSS Head and ER/Admin Supervisor, detailing illnesses and injuries in the workplace.
- File Medical Documents: Maintain confidentiality and ensure all medical documents are accurately filed and up-to-date.
- Implement Health Awareness Programs: Develop and implement health awareness programs, including vaccine administration, health counseling, and health and safety orientation for new hires.
- Conduct Health and Safety Walk-Through Inspections: Identify and address unsafe working conditions within company premises, working closely with Safety Officers to implement control measures.
- Maintain Medical Facilities: Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of all medical facilities, working with utility personnel to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Issue Fit to Work and Under-Time Slips: Provide necessary documentation in the absence of the Physician/Medical Retainer.
- Plan and Acquire Medical Supplies: Ensure a sufficient inventory of first aid medicine and recommend the acquisition of necessary medical equipment and kits as required.
- Provide Services to Other Work Sites: Offer similar services to other work sites without an Occupational Health Nurse.
- Monitor Employee Health Status: Monitor the health status of identified employees as required.
- Inform Immediate Superior and Food Safety Team: Communicate any concerns related to food safety management systems to the immediate superior and food safety team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in occupational health and safety management.
- License/Certification: Registered Nurse license.
- Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office applications, proficient in emergency medical response, and skilled communicators in both verbal and written mediums.
