Offshore Surface Installation and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Offshore Surface Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced technician looking to expand their skills in the offshore oil and gas industry.

  • Install, commission, and maintain surface equipment on offshore platforms and onshore facilities in Brazil.
  • Work with a variety of equipment including valves, casing hangers, packoff, tubing hanger, tree-cap, production block, and others.
  • Test and calibrate equipment onshore and offshore, including factory acceptance testing (FAT) and field repair and replacement activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Desirable experience working in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and maintenance of surface equipment on offshore platforms and onshore facilities.
  • Testing and calibration of equipment onshore and offshore.
  • Repair and replacement of equipment as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in installation and maintenance of surface equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed on offshore platforms and onshore facilities.
  • Shift work may be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
