As a seasoned researcher, you will analyze and synthesize player data to uncover insights on preferences, behaviors, and pain points. Your expertise will be essential in understanding the complexities of gaming culture and player motivations.

The ideal candidate is a skilled researcher with experience in user research, including 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. They should have hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative techniques and be proficient in designing and conducting surveys, FGDs, interviews, and usability studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute end-to-end research studies using various methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize research needs and align with project goals.
  • Champion a player-first mindset across the organization by advocating for evidence-based decision-making.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for game design, product, and publishing teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of user researchers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output. You will also stay current on research methodologies and gaming trends to continuously elevate research impact.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in user research, including 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Skilled in designing and conducting surveys, FGDs, interviews, and usability studies.
  • Strong ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively to non-research audiences.
