Job Description

This position requires a Body Structure Engineer to develop body structures that meet safety, performance, and aesthetic requirements.

  • Collaborate with design teams to develop body structures.
  • Construct and follow up on the Multifunction Component Timing Chart.
  • Recommend alterations to development and design.
  • Resolve highly complex technical issues.
  • Interact with Manufacturing teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure product design meets process efficiency, production, and quality standards.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve quality issues.
  • Coordinate requirements and design reviews with suppliers.
  • Evaluate and select materials for body components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding material and process specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Production, Automation preferred).
  • Proficiency in stamping components, metallic materials properties, and manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced or fluent English skills.
  • Legal ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Active CREA certification.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
