As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will conduct biochemical assays to characterize the molecular mechanism of small molecules synthesized in a research lab.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting protein expression and purification in different systems
- Designing and performing enzymatic assays and binding essays using fluorescent markers
- Operating and maintaining HPLC instrumentation
- Conducting conjugate synthesis, purification and characterization
- Presenting research findings at regular meetings and conferences
- Publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in protein purification and other biochemical procedures is required.
- Experience with microscopy, cell culture, western blotting and fluorescence spectroscopy
- Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis and data storage
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
MULTIPLE REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Biochemistry or closely related field
