Job Summary

This role is responsible for guiding the development and success of software products or features. The role serves as the bridge between various teams, such as engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders. The role supports the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, providing oversight of strategy, technical, and marketing aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the entire product development cycle, from initial definition to launch, ensuring quality and schedule.
  2. Understand the overall market, competitors, and open source technologies.
  3. Translate market and stakeholder needs into product requirements and definitions.
  4. Elicit detailed business requirements through engaging workshops and clear functional design documents.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to guide feature development and prioritization.
  6. Translate user requirements into executable and workable feature items with the software engineering team.
  7. Act as an advocate for stakeholders during specification and development stages.
  8. Lead all business readiness activities, including end-user training, product testing, and rollout.
  9. Drive process changes based on robust analysis of operational data and user behavior.
  10. Guide the team through execution by attentively monitoring milestones, tasks, and other deliverables, ensuring their completion per the defined plan.

Education & Experience Recommended

Typically requires a four-year or graduate degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
